Cinema for Tinies – The first in this entertaining animated series as a woolly mammoth, a sloth and a sabre-toothed tiger unite to return a human baby to its tribe.

In the first of the Ice Age films, Manny, Sid and Diego find a human child and try to return it to its own tribe. Enjoy the cinema without worrying about noise or wriggling.
(2002 USA 78 mins)
Cinema for Tinies – adults £4.00, children £3.00, under 2s free.

After the film, cinema-goers can visit the Saffron Walden Museum for an Ice Age inspired trail, and to get up close to the creatures from the film, including a sabre-toothed tiger and woolly mammoth in their current exhibition, ‘Life in the Ice Age’.

Ice Age’s real strength lies in sharply-defined relationship dynamics and likable characters that are worth rooting for. Best of all is Romano’s world-weary yet big-hearted mammoth – cold on the outside, warm on the inside – just like the film itself… It delivers solid laughs and thrills wrapped up in an infectious sense of character.
