Keane Live in Concert At Saffron Screen
Indie, Brit award winning band, Keane, will perform their greatest hits at the Goya Theatre in Berlin and the concert will be broadcast live to Saffron Screen next week.
As the first concert ever to be screened live from the cinema, it is already attracting music fans and tipped to be a fantastic evening of entertainment.
The very special gig at Berlin’s iconic and glamorous Goya, for which just 300 tickets were available, will be filmed using multiple camera angles to give Saffron Screen audiences the best seat in the house.
Saffron Screen’s Business Manager, Rebecca del Tufo said:
“Saffron Screen has been showing live theatre, ballet and opera for a couple of years now but we are delighted to be diversifying further with a live pop concert. We hope to show more live concerts in future and look further to our audience’s response”.
Keane’s 2004 debut album, ‘Hopes and Fears’, proved an instant hit with critics and fans alike and the band’s innovative piano-led, heart-on-sleeve style was showcased on the anthemic opening song ‘Somewhere Only We Know’. The Brit award-winning album debuted at the top of the charts and went on to become a multi-platinum success. Four consecutive number one albums ensued, clocking up 11 million total sales. Now the band are pausing to take stock with a ‘Best of Keane’ collection due out this month.
The Best of Keane: Live From Berlin will be screened live on Wednesday 6 November 2013 at 7pm. Tickets are priced at £12 and are available from the cinema box office, the Tourist Information Centre, or online at www.saffronscreen.com
