Saffron Screen Launch Young Film Programmers Group

Local, independent cinema Saffron Screen has just launched a new and exciting Young Film Programmers Group, in a bid to encourage young people to get involved in film.

As part of their work with Film Hub South East and the BFI Film Audience Network, Saffron Screen are looking for enthusiastic people aged 16–30 who are passionate about film.

The cinema will be running fortnightly group sessions to cover film, marketing, event-planning, budgeting and different genres of films so that young people can programme regular film events at Saffron Screen or in pop-up venues.

So if you are aged 16-30 and interested in film, or in learning more about the film industry, or if you want to enhance your CV by joining this new and exciting project.

If you, or someone you know, wants to find out more, we will be holding an introductory event at 5.30pm on Monday 16th July. We will be providing some food and drink so please let us know if you are coming on YP@saffronscreen.com so we can gauge numbers. If you can’t make this date, please email us for further information.
