Indiana Jones & the Dial of Destiny
Director: James Mangold
Cast: Harrison Ford, Pheobe Waller-Bridge, Mads Mikkelson
This fifth and final movie in the epic franchise is set 12 years after the events of Kingdom of the Crystal Skull and sees Harrison Ford returning for one last crack of the famous whip as the heroic archaeologist.
The film opens in 1944 with Indiana helping colleague Basil Shaw to prevent Nazi Jürgen Voller (Mads Mikkelson) from obtaining a mysterious dial known as the Antikythera – a dial invented by Archimedes to calculate and calibrate astronomical phenomena, which it is believed can be used to time travel.
Fast-forward to 1969 and Voller is now working for NASA, aiding the United States in the Space Race against the Soviet Union. Hoping to go back in time and make the Nazis win World War II, he has his sights set on the Antikythera. Can Jones, accompanied by Basil’s goddaughter Helena (Pheobe Waller-Bridge), stop the dial falling into the hands of evil?
