L’Elisir D’Amore – CANCELLED

Recorded live from the Royal Opera House.
Laurent Pelly’s intoxicating and joyous production of one of the great Italian operas, filled with tunes, romantic arias and mischievous comedy, is a much-loved favourite at Covent Garden and has been performed over 40 times since 2007.

Peasant Nemorino is madly in love with Adina. But her wealth, popularity and beuaty deters him from declaring his love. After a plot filled with twists, turns and several misunderstandings, a happy conclusion is reached.

Terfel is joined by Nadine Sierra and conductor Sesto Quatrini, both making their ROH debuts.
