Puffin Rock And The New Friends

Celebrating Ireland’s magnificent natural environment with themes of belonging, courage and friendship, this wholesome animation follows family favourites Oona, Baba, May, and Mossy, who are joined on the island by new characters Isabelle, Phoenix, and Marvin. When the last Little Egg of the season disappears under mysterious circumstances, Oona and her new friends race against time to bring the Little Egg home before a big storm hits Puffin Rock and puts the entire island in danger. A “gorgeous, wholesome delight” (The Guardian) featuring the voices of Chris O’Dowd, Amy Huberman, Eva Whittaker and Aaron MacGregor.

Based on the award-winning TV series, this new animated feature from Derry-based Dog Ears and Kilkenny-based Academy Award-nominated Cartoon Saloon is the first animated feature to be produced in Northern Ireland.

Our Relaxed Screening on Wednesday 23 August is for those who would like to see the film in a bit more of a relaxed atmosphere or for whom the full cinema experience may be a little too overwhelming – children are free to make noise and roam around, and babies are welcome. The lights won’t be fully dimmed, the volume will be a little lower, and there will be no adverts or trailers.
