Important Notice: Temporary Closure and Screening Cancellations this Friday 26th June & Saturday 27th due to Extreme Heat

Due to the extreme heat forecast for this weekend, we have taken the difficult decision to close our doors to ensure the safety and comfort of our audience, volunteers, and staff.

Consequently, the following scheduled film screenings have been cancelled:

• Friday, June 26
  • 19:30 – 500 Miles
• Saturday, June 27
  • 14:30 – The Devil Wears Prada 2
  • 19:30 – 500 Miles

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and any disappointment this may cause to your weekend plans.

What this means for ticket holders:

• Automatic Refunds: If you pre-booked tickets for any of these screenings, our team will automatically process a full refund back to your original payment method. Please allow a few working days for this to appear in your account.
• Ticket Exchanges: If you would prefer to exchange your tickets for an upcoming screening later this month or in July instead, please let us know.

We plan to reopen and resume our normal scheduled programming this Sunday (June 28), starting with our screenings of 500 Miles at 14:30 and National Theatre Live: Les Liaisons Dangereuses at 19:00, as temperatures are expected to cool down. Thank you so much for your understanding, patience, and continued support of our independent community cinema.

If you have any urgent questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us at info@saffronscreen.com.

Warm regards,

The Saffron Screen Team
