Shaun the Sheep is back on the big screen with an intergalactic adventure as he and the gang must try to return a friendly alien to her home.
When a spaceship crash-lands near Mossy Bottom Farm, Shaun and the gang meet Lu-La, a friendly and fun-loving alien with super powers and galactic-sized burps. But, with sinister people on her trail, they decide to send the visitor home before a threatened alien invasion. Gloriously inventive, brilliantly animated and virtually dialogue-free, this is another stop-motion delight from Aardman that all the family will enjoy.
(2019 UK / France / USA 87 mins)
This sheep-quel mixes the same jolliness and English eccentricity with a Spielbergian sci-fi twist – and pulls it off with typical Aardman charm … another great showcase for the animation house’s powers of non-verbal storytelling that’s a giddy delight for kids, and just witty and knowing enough for grown-ups … one giant leap for lamb kind.
