How to get here

Please use the main school entrance and car parks (not the sports hall car park). Signposts from the main school entrance will guide you to the cinema. If you park behind the school, please access the cinema via the covered walkway beside the auditorium.

Parking is free but please note on some evenings when events are taking place at Saffron Hall, spaces can be limited. Please note: The school gates will be locked approximately 20 minutes after the end of each evening film – please leave the property as promptly as possible once the film ends.

Doors open

Doors open 30 minutes before screenings start (except for Dementia-Friendly and Autism-Friendly screenings when the doors open an hour prior to the screening start time to allow for socialising).

Please make sure you leave a suitable amount of time before the film to purchase refreshments as queues can form ahead of busy screenings.

Refreshments

We have a range of snacks and refreshments available to purchase at the cinema including popcorn, chocolates, nuts, sweets and ice cream. Where possible, our snacks are sourced locally from Saffron Wholefoods, Belvoir juices and Saffron Ice Cream.

We also serve cold drinks including diet fizzy drinks and juices, as well as hot coffee and tea from Hessian in Bishops Stortford. All our hot drinks are served in recyclable hot drinks cups from ‘Born in the UK.’

We have a fully licensed bar that is open for evening screenings on Fridays and Saturdays, and on other days for Arts on Screen events plus some other special events.
