We Need a Van!
Community outreach is an integral part of Saffron Screen – since 2015 we have screened over 30 films to engage a wide-ranging audience of over 500 people each year. In April we launched our Talk of the Town events at the Town Hall AND we would really like to reach more people by increasing the number of Pop-Up screenings in the locality. For these to take place, we rely on the generosity of our staff and volunteers who transport our equipment in their own cars. This includes a PA system, two different screens, a projector, media equipment, staging, marketing materials and refreshments! As you can imagine, this can entail several vehicles and/or journeys! Therefore, we feel that it’s time we had our own van.
How you can help
There are several ways you can help us:
- Would you be able to sponsor the purchase of our van? We will include sponsor logos on the vehicle.
- Do you know of a van which is seeking new owners, or one which could be shared?
- Could you advise us with your mechanical knowledge?
If you are able to help in ANY way at all, we would be delighted to hear from you at firstname.lastname@example.org
Thank you, as always, for your fantastic support!
